Boiling Springs High School » Message from the Principal

Message from the Principal

Boiling Springs High School has a tradition of which we are proud; traditions built on a commitment to student success.  We have a long-standing history of pride and achievement that is evident in our graduates, faculty, and administration.

The focus of the present and future is on a myriad of learning opportunities that assist each student develop confidence, teamwork, and caring for others, along with the promotion of academic excellence.  We are proud of what we achieve at Boiling Springs High School, in our classrooms, on our playing fields and stages, but those achievements are not due to complacency and satisfaction with the status quo.  Our programs are what they are because of a committed staff of educators and a supportive community who all have the same goal, to do what is best for our students.  We also believe that high schools should embrace and move towards accomplishing the following:

High school is a learning community and our school must continue to commit itself to expect demonstrated academic achievement for every student in accord with standards that can stand up to scrutiny.

High school must function as a transitional experience, getting each student ready for the next stage of life.

High school must be a gateway to multiple options.

High school must prepare each student to be a life-long learner.  High school must lay a foundation for students to be able to participate comfortably in a technological society.

High school must be an institution that advocates on behalf of young people.

Go Bubblers,

Mr. Joseph Mancuso
