Staff Profiles

Pamela Garland - Mrs. Garland teaches sixth, seventh and eighth grade general music classes at Yellow Breeches Middle School. She earned her B.S. in Music Education from West Chester University and has done graduate work at West Chester University, Westminster Choir College, Penn State University, and Villanova University. She has been teaching in various public schools in Pennsylvania for 18 years and has taught piano privately for 26 years. Pam is also the staff accompanist for the Iron Forge and Yellow Breeches Choruses.

Jason Roach - Mr. Jason Roach is the band director at Yellow Breeches Middle School (grades 6-8). where he teaches instrumental lessons and directs the 6th grade band, 7th and 8th grade band, jazz band, 6th grade general music and 8th grade general music. He is also the assistant marching band director at the high school. Mr. Roach has a B.S. in Music Education from Lebanon Valley College, and also a Masters of Music in Conducting from Messiah College. In his free time Jason enjoys playing on his worship team, teaching private lessons and performing in various bands in the area.

Keith Roden - Mr. Roden serves as the High School Music Department Chair and directs all choirs in Yellow Breeches Middle School and Boiling Springs High School. In addition, he teaches all elective music courses at the high school and the Life Skills class at Yellow Breeches Middle School. He earned his B.S. in Music Education from Lebanon Valley College and has done graduate studies in the fields of music education, music technology and handbells from Westminster Choir College, Villanova University, West Chester University, and Duquesne University. In addition to his work at South Middleton School District, Keith serves as Director of Sanctuary Music, at Camp Hill United Methodist Church.

DeLeigh Wilson - Mrs. Wilson is the elementary choral/classroom music teacher at the Iron Forge Educational Center. Mrs. Wilson received her teacher certification from Messiah College and her Masters in Music Education from Towson University. Mrs. Wilson has taught in South Middleton School District for five years and previously taught at York College and Carlisle School District for 14 years prior to coming to South Middleton. She has had a private voice studio for the last twenty-two years, sixteen of which have been in Boiling Springs. She is also a member of the choral group "Cantate Carlisle."

David Yinger - Mr. Dave Yinger is the band director at Boiling Springs High School (grades 9-12) where he teaches instrumental lessons and directs the marching band, concert band and jazz band. He is also the band director at Iron Forge (grades 4-5) where he teaches instrumental lessons and directs the 5th grade band. Mr. Yinger has a B.S. in Music Education and B.A. in Music-Jazz Studies, both from Lebanon Valley College. He has done graduate studies at Lebanon Valley and The University of the Arts. In addition to his work at South Middleton, Dave enjoys playing music in his free time with various area bands and ensembles.
