Community

The South Middleton community is made up of the South Middleton Township, which shares the same geographical area and boundaries as the South Middleton School District. The community includes the villages of Boiling Springs, Gardners, and Mount Holly Springs, and the surrounding farms and developments. A suburban-rural area, the South Middleton Community is known for the historic town of Boiling Springs, outstanding fishing in the Yellow Breeches Creek, and the nearby Appalachian Trail.

Community pride is shown through events such as the annual Founder's Day celebration in early June. The school district serves as a hub for the community, working with the South Middleton Township Parks and Recreation Department to provide many educational and recreational services for our residents.
