JEDI Strategic Action Score Cards

Through monthly JEDI Taskforce meetings, the team created SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-based) grounded in the Pennsylvania Department of Education's Equity Pillars of Practice.  These goals will be outlined in a yearly JEDI Strategic Scorecard, which will be used to develop, review, and examine the fidelity of implementing justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.  This Scorecard is a tool used to measure an in-depth plan of action based on self-awareness development, changes to policies and practices, and data-informed decision-making.

Grounded in the Equity Pillars of Practice, as outlined on the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s Equitable Practices Hub, and the MAEC Equity Audit results, the JEDI Steering Committee created SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-based).  Progress towards these SMART Goals will be evaluated by both formative (frequent) and summative (end of school year) measures by members of the JEDI Steering Committee.  Since these goals are foundational to the yearly JEDI Strategic Action Scorecard, the JEDI Steering Committee members will utilize the established SMART goals to develop, review, and examine the fidelity of implementing justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.  Ultimately, this Scorecard is a tool to measure an in-depth plan of action based on self-awareness development, changes to policies and practices, and data-informed decision-making.
